Having used both SE Ranking and Ahrefs I can say for certain that there is a difference in which one is better, but before we reveal our take let’s talk about what each one offers for a similar price point.

We will be comparing the differences between Ahrefs standard package (£159/m) and SE Rankings business package (£159/m). With both these companies being really big and successful it’s always good to make sure you put your money where it matters, so let’s dive into the analysis.

What the SE package offers:

SE Ranking offers a lot of things that can help you find problems to solve and find high search volume keyword. It is a great tool that can drastically help anyone create a great marketing plan for increasing their websites overall reach.

There package offers a lot of things however for both software we will only cover the most important. This includes:

Your “credits” reset monthly so you start every month with a new set of credits.

For SE Rankings keyword research tool the credits is shared between this and the competitor research tool, this limits your reports on both of those to 10,000 in total. In conclusion Ahrefs offers more for the same price that SE Ranking does, in order for you to get white label reports from SE Ranking you need to pay an extra £40 on top of all the other costs SE Ranking can get quite expensive.
